This thing really needs a stat boost desu.

It's movepool is great and poison types are pretty good now in-general. Too bad it's stats totally hold it back from doing much of anything.

A stat boost would be great for this guy even if its only on defences and more HP

He's pretty much regular Muk with more Defense and less everything else. Sure his movepool is very different than Muk, but I hope he gets something to help him stand out more.

Recover would be perfect
Gets all element punches from gen 4
Gets stuff like shadow ball, ice beam, curse, etc.
Pretty bulky, especially with assault vest.

I had one in oras, and he did real well.

Give it a signature move.

Just buff Swallow to become a reliable recovery move that becomes even better when used after Stockpile.

New ability, gives him a counter for stockpile each turn. Not the defense bonus, just the point, so he can reliably use swallow and spit up, and make spit up poison or something.

Too weak. Also you get energy after digest, so:
After eating a berry(both as held item or used item when bag is usable), this move will (no berry = loss of pp and no effect) give +2 in every stat to Swalot and give him a buff (similar to ingrain, flas fire...) named "katoballein". This move is reusable every time in a match, as long as one berry as been eaten, but will fail if used when Swalot has already a Katoballein buff(neither will stat buffs stack).
Katoballein effect: leftovers. Such buff expires with the switch-out.
