Isn't Mega Beedrill basically a Pheromosa now, with the buff to the Megas? It doesn't have ice beam but does a lot more damage. Do you think it will be good in OU?

Would Fell Stinger work for him? He's fast as shit and a poison jab from him would do loads to anything not steel. After he gets them to below half he can come in with the fell stinger kill and get +3.

Pheromosa has a trolling speed tier of 151, which lets it out speed mega Alakazam, while beedrill has "only" 145. Beedrill hits harder though. The physical bulk is the same, beedrill can survive one neutral special hit though. Both are walled pretty hard by toxapex, unless beedrill runs that ground move from Oras tutors. Also I'm not sure beedrill outspeeds scarf lele, (can't be bothered to check) which would be the main selling point of mega beedrill. All in all I think it could fare well in OU as a premier revenge killer and scout.

Mega Beedrill was UU in Gen VI even counting a wasted move slot on protect. The power creep is not so big that it will cause it to drop, especially considering the buff that allows it to run four actual moves

M-beedrill ohkos a non invested tapu lele with posion jab. It's just a matter of speed

Beedrill has to run Jolly. Alakazam and Pheromosa might have to run Speed-boosting natures to outrun it, which is bad news for Pheromosa's Beast Boosts on non-Scarf sets.
