Why do you bogans think pokemon will ever come to be based on your shit demi-continent?

Is australia really all that important?

Gen 8 predictions
>region will focus on some sort of exotic gimmick
>everything in the game will constantly remind you that it's based on (insert country here) rather than putting more focus on the fantasy elements
>if the region is based on a country with an in-land capital city, they'll have nearly the entire country as the scope of the region (just so they can fit the capital in there), making it all feel undetailed and boring
>lots of genwunner pandering despite the fact that the regional will be geographically nowhere near Kanto
>somewhere between 90 and 100 new pokemon (so they'll be able to reach 999 in gen 9)
>no new Z-moves
>existing Z-moves will be postgame only
>postgame will be railroaded plot-related missions rather than free exploration of new areas

I'm hoping either Australia or Iceland.

If not iceland, at least something nordic. We need a frigid region. Iceland is prefered because you also got all the volcanic activity, meaning you don't have to shoehorn in someplace hot.
