Some anons have noted that its belly looks like a dragon's face. Like armour for the face. Maybe a connection to the original dragon of Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem's lore?

It's an edgy Golisopod.

Since it also came from the UB world a long time ago it probably lost energy and reverted to the form you see just like how Solgaleo/Lunala reverted to Cosmog.

As someone said, it looks like a dragon's head. Take the arms out and you get eye sockets, legs out and you get nostrils.
