just came across a couple of cards on the street, this one stood out among them all. from my understanding its a holographic first gen charizard could /vp/ help me in finding its value?
Congrats OP it's worth $1,000,000 dollars I'll buy it.

As much as someone is actually willing to pay you for it?
Collection value is overrated if you'll never actually find a buyer for it at some price-range.

i think i'd be better off asking on r9k in that case.....

It's looks pretty beat up, OP.
Old Pokemon cards really aren't worth much in the first place and by the looks of those scratches it's worth even less.
Don't sell it, treasure the memories instead.
>not 1st
>not graded
>not shadowless/special borders/etc
like 10-20 at best if ya find someone who likes it, if everything was optimal though a few k but that one clearly isn't.

OP here, so is there any easy way i can sell it? or am i better off just keeping it for show?

1 Million.... Trillion....
Rupees
that was a ytp reference btw =D

It's bad condition and not 1st edition so if ya want money for pizza or for a game or something I guess ya could sell it otherwise don't.

>Don't expect too much
Sell it, see what other people are pricing it for, don't expect to actually get the same money for it.
>Actually think that it's supposed to be worth a lot
You may as well keep it.
Also,
>Not 1st edition
>Not in one of those rated collectors cases that are bullshit but make it look legit
From a quick glance at ebay, I guarantee that you will not get more than $300 for it, ever. One guy is even selling one for $35 and that's a more realistic expectation of what you'll actually move it for.
My anecdote is
>Have a collection of almost all the promo cards from the first pokemon movie all through when gen 2 came out for the tcg
>Not kept in special cases, but in good condition regardless
>Realize that I'll probably get less than $50 for the lot.
Eh, I had fun with the act of collecting them.
