Nah, I know a few trans people that have no interest in transitioning. The procedure is expensive, time consuming, and if done with the wrong body type can make you look, well, awful. Ah, that weirdo's headcanon is that Hau is a transman/boy, IE born as a woman but wants to be a man. But since he has no interest in transitioning, Hau just dresses and acts masculine and leaves it at that. Transitioning usually requires hormone therapy to replace estrogen with testosterone, possibly breast removal surgery, etc.
