I've wanted - as autistic as this sounds - four different Mega Stones for Deoxys, one for each form. But the kicker here is that you'd be able to mix and match so that the stat boosts and type changes would get applied to each of the various forms. It could be really cool.

Alternatively instead of a Mega, Deoxys could just hold a item that changes it's ability into Form Change (similar to Aegislash):
