It's easy to hack a 3DS now (or at least, much easier than when I did it over a year ago), all you have to do now is play an MP3 file to launch Homebrew.
Having access to Homebrew lets you use JKSM with PKHeX, so you can just edit your own savefile.

If you want free games and stuff, you have to go a bit further and install CFW.
But if you only want to inject, then homebrew will do.

There are two kind of homebrew entrypoints.

Start rain, switch to water dragon and there goes your team.

You could use ninetails on the switch, but it can still die to a hydropump and then opp just switches back.

Rotom H although bulky, will still die to a set rain/hydropump.

I am not the best player by a long shot, but it will be a battle upwards JUST to be on the same level.

Now you have 3 USEFUL MONS on the team instead of 1 or 2 that MAY help.

Ninetails still takes the sun away the same way Mega Char Y does, it just doesn't hit as hard, but it's quicker. CharX is has to outspeed or it dies to Draco Meteor.

For surf chu did you have to do anything for the legality of it? Tried trading omar a event pokemon it didn't go through, thought maybe you knew what could be the problem. I was thinking if I inject it into a gen 6 game and then transfer it to a gen 7 game it could work.
