what you want here is high movement and priority, dont be deceived by attack values, these dont win the game at all, gold attacks are shit because they depend on the opponent and are usually low chanced (less than 50% of it happening)

so yeah, latias is the only EX worth anyone's time

From a friend who finished Number 7's battle, apparently that's where the story mode ends for now, so I think the deal with Luca won't really be touched on until the next hotel which looks like the rooms Luca is talking to Another with
As for Number 7, he had a father that neglected him and his mother to do AI research, and then left them suddenly. His mother died, and he was forced to adopt and improve upon the AI system his dad left behind even though he wasn't much of a scientist to begin with and wanted to play PFG. At least, that's what I got from how far I am. I'm really excited to see what the next few battles hold

I think it's mostly the Roger's family's doing. As for how he joined up with them, it's because of a combination of his sister getting kidnapped by the Rogers and also because Sharon, the MC and Nadya never bothered to help him during the 4th hotel and Another pointed that out and used his insecurities about everyone only caring about him for his position against him. Or something like that.

I think the Rogers do have a noble pursuit in mind, but their entire way of achieving said goals is really shady, and that goal is something Luca at least partially agrees with. It's a case of bad communication when it comes to Luca because MC and Sharon did care about him but never actually verbalized it when his sister was missing.

So how would all of you rate the balance of this game? It seems pretty decent so far though that's probably only due to the heavy reliance on RNG. I do feel like pieces with 3 movement (particularly those with a high chance purple move) have a particular advantage over everything else, but I've only been playing for a day so I couldn't really judge.

I use a metagross. That just means that if you KO the oponent then they move, but basically they wasted their turn fighting your metagross so it's not that big of a deal.
If you are the one attacking then is their turn after that as usual, no double turns.

There's a couple ways you can gamble on Hyper Beam etc to screw your opponent over if they place them poorly. For example you could move a piece to surround another piece that was blocking a high MP piece, then attack Metagross to give yourself another turn. I won a game that way once.
