Kricketune serves a more supportive role and doesn't really get too much Technician use outside of Knock Off, whereas Dewgong has a godly movepool for Technician both physically and specially.
Dewgong doesn't benefit much from Thick Fat, being part water - Kricketune loses one weakness for better chances of living.

Unfortunately Thick Fat wouldn't make too much sense on Kricketune, but it does have a round belly and especially so for being an insect.

speed boost blaziken is not needed. What about torrent? It can boost it's water type moves when it's low hp to give mega blaziken or ha blaziken a stab.
