Rowlet. Didn't want to be too biased on him, so wanted to give Popplio a chance. While Popplio and Brionne are adorable, Primarina doesn't really interest me as a final evolution, so I went with owl, which all three forms interested me.(Liked the archer theme and they all looked cute with their owl-like mannerisms and it's not often you get another owl)

I was always pretty apathetic towards Litten, but I stagnated myself on Fire type starters too much much before this gen, so I guess I never considered him. I like cats, but in this case, it didn't affect my choice. It was for the best, since it evolves into something that has wrestling involved, which I was a fan of previously, but ultimately doesn't interest me at all nowadays, I probably would have been let down if I got attached to Litten and Torracat too much.

I'd just rather all starters to be equal rather than just one hogging all the attention. It's weird knowing one Kanto starter has two Mega Evolutions while the rest have one and knowing one Kalos starter has a weird ass form the other two don't have. The fuck is that about.

Torracat > Dartrix > Brionne
Decidueye > Primarina > Inceinroar

However in-game you would have an easier time with the Litten or Popplio lines.
