Have you seen roggenrolla's fainting animation, that has the most effort put into it than any other fainting animation.

The old console games had longer animations, which I enjoyed

Buzzwole and PBR Honchkrow have the best fainting animations.

It's because none of the fainting animations this gen barring a select few like Porygon-Z are unique or interesting. They're all basically the same flopping forward interrupted halfway by the trainer recalling.
