I've seen more Archeops than just about any other fossilmon, possibly tied with aerodactyl. But let us be honest: Kabutops is a worse Scyther, Omastar is a PRAISE HELIX, but does nothing competitively. Armand-bro has a type nobody remembers but it just gets killed because it's not a good type. Cradily is almost useless without it's HA, which just makes it a "scald sucker". Bastion is "My massive defense means nothing because I have a 4X weakness as my FACE", and rampardos is "trick room use only" sweeper who dies before getting his first attack off

It does play well with the new priority healing fairy: max out bulk and speed, carry that berry that increases your attack, attack, take a hit, if you live, next turn the triage fairy heals you to full as a priority, you outspeed 90% of the meta. You can 2HKO much of the same with Stone edge, EQ, Dragon Claw, ... Whatever

Use Power Herb for a jacked up Sky Attack, then spam Acrobatics. Other than tha you want Earthquake and Stone edge

Has a great spikes set as a lead, works great in the rain as a Swift Swim user, and has Shell Smash. It's decent enough. Before Mega Aerodactyl became a thing I thought it was the strongest fossil, easily.
