Singles or Doubles?
Which do you prefer?

whats even the point of single battles?

To bring as many immunities as possible so you can continually switch out to invalidate your opponents attacks.

whoa.... sounds fun...

Honestly, I've played pretty much exclusively singles all my life (started in Gen 1 so yet a bit of an oldfag). Just trying to plan out how to raise my team so I want to make sure I plan it out correctly for either Singles or Doubles.
I'm going for a mono-type Poison team though.

Yes but in doubles everyone runs a move that invalidates attacks and you could spam it forever
And the only way to beat it is with obsure moves that opponents could see a mile away

you mean rock slide?
its not that hard to counter

Protect
>>31555891
That's literally why SR exists
>>31555980
a team for doubles should always have at least a pokemon with body guard, and giving up a move slot for singles sounds like a bad idea
Both sucks since gen 6.
Rotations was my shit. But it's dead.
Now we just have two boring formats where you just attack with the strongest shit you have every turn. Soo fun...
>>31556057
bullshit, there is a shitload of ways to fuck protect
>>31556197
It's why everyone should bring a buffing or recovery move so that when they think they're making you waste your turn, you're actually making yourself even stronger.
It's all part of the mind game.

Rotations were amazing in Gen 6. Hope they return when Pokemon moves to stronger hardware
