I'll grant you there's some cool ideas, but it's just...so mammalian? And a lot of them are very generic-looking. Like, a lot. I dig the sea urchin and vulture thing a lot though.

This might just be the white tinting trying to replicate that old Sugi phase, but the color schemes seem to heavily lean toward muted pale colors across the board. Especially the first 30 or so mons.

Overall I'd say that it'd have led to a different kind of disappointment, but disappointment none the less.

gen 3 had alot of good Pokémon even though the games weren't that good for alot of people. These all look like they're from Lilo and Stitch or just ugly. All the monotone Pokémon :s

Even as a young sprout I would have thought there was something off about the designs.

I like he art style, but the designs just look effortlessly cobbled together. There are like 20 dog recolors.
