I don't even like garchomp or think m-garchomp was needed but since it exists I think it deserves better. 98 might not be the best but I don't know for sure how much better it would be with 102 speed. Maybe regular garchomp would still be better then? dunno

As a heads up, the Japanese name for Sand Rush is Sand Paddle. This is why Stoutland gets it. (doggie paddle) It's meant for things that can move through sand as quick as a fish swims through water.

In other words, count you blessings /vp/ because Garchomp is a sandshark, and by all means should get Sand Rush. The only reason it does not is the same reason it doesn't have Dragon Dance or learn Earthquake by levelup. Because they know perfectly well it would be terrifying.

While the concept of a pokemon with a weather setting ability in its base form and a weather benefiting ability in its mega is interesting, I'm not sure Garchomp in particular needs that.

Why does it need fixing? It's an OU staple with few counters, even with the dominance of fairies.

Giving it Sand Rush--ever--would break it. Straight to 100% use/ban in comp. The only thing currently holding Sand Rush in check is how most of the pokes that get it either have shit speed already, or are shitmons in general.
