Can't find a good video, but I've been seeing a TON of ads on Youtube for "Master of Monsters" where it says it's like playing FireRed on your iPhone, but then they show actual gameplay which is shitty redrawn sprites of the anime characters, and the ad uses music from the games too. I'm really surprised Nintendo hasn't done anything about it yet.

Pokemon knock off was pretty numerous on phones, since normies doesn't know how to emulate. That's why pokemon go became so popular. The target audience had always been there for a long time ago.
