How do I use Pokemon that can only move 1 place per turn? I want to use Xatu/Bronzong/Tyranitar but they seem way too slow. I've only had success when putting them on top of the my goal (Which sometimes takes too long to do and stops my own pokemon from entering for a few turns) and using Emolga with volt switch to get them closer to the enemy goal which is less than optimal.

I use an Emolga with my team of Ex and R Pokemon and it's really good at volt switching something like Giratina or Magmortar onto your spot. And then moving again to sit on enemy spawn points or surround someone.
It's especially good with Giratina because Giratina's ability lets it slip past an opponent on its turn.

I think Magmortar is pretty strong for an EX, since it either burns something or knocks something out with fire punch, and most things can otherwise be knocked out by flame gun (which is also good for enemies that camp right next to other enemies on the goal because it can knock out an adjacent Pokemon too)

Shuppet and Gastly too, obviously, but I find Shuppet more useful because having a good purple skill can prevent it from being knocked out as easily by non-gold attackers

I've rerolled enough times that I once glitched the game into giving me two booster tickets, and I still haven't got an EX yet. Fuck.

I don't have a second device to transfer my save too, but could I just use Bluestack instead for a second device?

While I don't know for sure, I can whole-heartedly recommend a Magmortar. Pulled one out of a random pack, and this fucker has been tearing through entire enemy teams.

Its Purple 2-star attack instantly kills the opposing Pokémon, and if there's another Pokémon adjacent to it, you can kill that one too. Its other attack is a 60 Power Fire Punch that leaves the opponent Burned should it lose the match-up. It's an absolute beast.

Is the bot a program? Like a human downloads the program and it just plays the game for them? Or are the bots just computer players actually put into the game by the developers? I know other online games do this occasionally, just so you have something to play against when actual humans are playing. Was wondering if this was the case with this game as well.

I haven't thrown any money into the game at all and still do great on competitions, level progression, etc. Hopefully it's the same for this game.

The game was too expensive for what it was doing. Like that guy said, the booster packs were arranged in such a way you'd quickly have duplicates of figurines - both more expensive, and more space-occupying, than doubles of a Pokemon card you didn't want.


The easy solution would've been to actually trade figures in a game labelled a "TRADING figure game", but no one actually traded figures, or cards. Because most people still associate Pokemon with those breathless Action 7 News reports of "Pokemania" and assuming their binder of cards will be worth millions of dollars, no one ever /trades/ cards, and they didn't trade figures either. You just have autistic weirdos who don't make deals saying that a shiny piece of paper is worth $50, and the only people buying at those prices are even more autistic weirdos who don't value anything else in their life. I've been en-masse replied to by angry nerds when I offer to buy a card for $5 and told I'm "destroying the market value!!"

i felt the same way about the artstyle at first too, but it actually started to grow on me after a while

i'm completely F2P and i hit legendary arena a few days ago. you can play through the game without spending a cent, but you'll certainly progress slower than someone who does spend money

gonna be honest, it's super grindy at the top. i still have a lot of fun though. the meta changes a lot because of monthly balance changes, so that keeps it fresh for me at least.
