Speed and health really makes it lose some viability.

It's decent. Nice bulk and great power, but shit speed and movepool. It's probably gonna be a terror in whatever tier it ends up in. Also Schooling is literally the least hurtful of all the negative abilities out there. It only happens at the end of the turn, and at 1/4 HP. By the time it activates, it doesn't make a difference because you're probably gonna get KO'd this turn because you're so slow. It virtually does not make a difference.

I feel like a decent wish support system would keep it very relevant through a battle, its stats when schooled up are no fucking joke unlike archeops who gets fucking crippled instantly and whose stats still arent worth having a gimp ability

It's honestly pretty cool. It works best in trick room (LEL EBIN TR SUX MEME), but outside of TR it's a bit bad. Still usable, though. Invest in a lot of speed; it needs it so it can outspeed defensive stuff before they can recover. HP electric is also super nice since it gives you pseudo boltbeam.

Whats a good competitive set for it? I caught a shiny but I already finished the main game
