Now on the main point. You're claiming May was all over Brendan's dick, and you're saying Lillie wasn't? I normally like accusing people of this, but have you actually played SM? May and Brendan's interactions were nothing compared to Lillie and MCs. Simply the amount of interaction between the two is the proof of that. Unlike May, Lillie didn't even waste time with battles. All her encounters were just her being all over MC.

The entire game was about the relationship between them, and how that changes both, making Lillie emotionally stronger, and pushing the MC to be a stronger trainer for her. There was no League you were aiming for this time. Not only that, they are confirmed IN-GAME to stay together even after Lillie returns. Are you actually going to claim they'll throw all of that development out and say "lol they were just friends", simply because the developers hasn't said anything about it yet? Really? That doesn't sound any ridiculous to you?
