Anyway, on my own Ribbon mon, just started the Battle Tower in Gen 3. Heres hoping that I can make it through this one.

Looks like a poor time to start this was picked. Bank is pretty much the major focus.

Here's my team and their ribbon collections. Haven't started collecting in Sun yet, I've gotta replay the game first.

The battle royale is bullshit. That's all I have to contribute right now.

I lost my win streak in Super Doubles 33 battles in. How the fuck am I supposed to get the Expert Battler Ribbon with bullshit coming at me this quickly?

Do triples and use this strategy.

After battle 49, back out and replace the latter three (or less) with Pokémon that need the Expert Battler ribbon. Fight the Chatelaine like that.

If you get all the ribbons from every contest category in gen 3+4, when it transfers over to gen 6 and up, the ribbons combine into 1 ribbon that is gold if you have them all, and not if you're missing even one.

Yikes, Ribbonfags really have it rough this time around, huh? I guess it isn't at the same level as Gen V's attempt to hide Ribbons, but this is just sad.

And my streak was broken. I really wish I had better options in Gen 3.

Yes they can, they did it for 3 generations, we don't need an inmediate third gen 7 game nor remakes of the fourth.

Turns out it really helps to have a competitively viable Ribbon mon (Scizor). Would have lost hard on the Battle Royal otherwise. Fuck that shit. If you hate it like I do and you're having problems, try cheesing it with a Swords Dance/Explosion Life Orb Silvally; usually that helps you get a good point lead early on.

Also, anyone else disappointed that the Contest Star ribbon doesn't have any in-battle effect in SM?
