Because it's the end of the main plot.
It shows Lillie's motivation paying off in that Lusamine showed a tinge of her former self, the self that Lillie went to ultra space to rescue despite the villainous nature that she expressed throughout the rest of the story.

One of the stronger scenes in the game. I enjoyed that scene.

I know /vp/ is like the EO fanbase and dislikes predefined story compared to the room left for interpretations in previous titles, but the finale for Lillie's character development and the resolution of Lusamine's problem was done very well.

I just liked her character, it was refreshing. She had a very standard growth and change from a standpoint outside of Pokemon, but it was enough coupled with her other personality traits and plot involvement to make me care about her. I don't mean that she was the absolute best character in the pokemon franchise, but for what the game was, she was well done.

N doesn't even feel about what happened to Black in the manga either, meanwhile White is suffering and Blanica gets teary eye'd just thinking of the guy, N's a douche in the manga
