Hypothetical would you buy a Pokemon game this year on the switch

I would. Currently my 3ds xl joystick is super glue repaired, and I'm tired of the sudden frame drops using any move besides tackle. Also looking forward to Monster Hunter on Switch.

After the last couple of gens, probably not.

If it's a mainline game sure. If it's something like Pokemon Snap or Detective Pikachu then no.

I'll have to get one for Super Bomberman R, Xenoblade 2, Super Mario Odyssey, and probably Inazuma Eleven Ares by the end of the year anyways, so yeah I would buy a Pokemon game or spin-off.

If it was another Alola game already though, I wouldn't enjoy it very much.

I can't see myself paying $50 for Bomberman. At this point I'm sure there's knock offs or indie games that do it better at this point.

I won't be buying one at launch, since Bomberman will be like the only game I want from now to the holidays that isn't a multiplat I'd be buying due to being portable or finally localized. I don't have a problem with paying full price for games though.
