When I was young, I always thought Normal was a powerful type because of their immense movepools, one weakness (lol Submission in Gen 1), and overall excellent coverage. Nowadays, I know it's not that simple, but I still have a soft spot for them and they are one of my favorite types along with Poison and Grass.
