1. Double typed moves
2. Triple typed pokemon

Triple typed mons would be rad
>>31493079
Both are horrible ideas. You know how Garchomp can fly and what not? Imagine slapping a Flying type on that motherfucker. He'd be practically unusable.
>>31493079
I'd like to see a held item that controls what the third typing is so you can better control your pokemons resistances and weaknesses
>>31493167
>Garchomp
>unusable
>horrible idea
No.
Triple type just sounds like a clusterfuck. Double typed moves would however cause the player to think about which effectiveness the move has. There would have to be limits though to it's not horribly OP as shit.

>Gen 9 introduces triple types
>gives Garchomp Flying type
>same Gen also introduces an ice-typed Stealth Rocks

Technically Flying Press already exists
>>31493803
And triple-typed pokemon are already technically possible for the grass and ghost types (albeit if just temporarily), thanks to forest curse and trickortreat.
I wouldn't be surprised if they make more moves like flying press or actual triple types in the future.

Pokemon MD did linked moves if that counts.

Let's not forget that Dhelmise gets STAB on steel type attacks
>>31493778
That would be the only thing to kill Chomp
>>31493079
Waiting for the day off triple types. I have a feeling that the reason they introduced the hand holding labels of move effectiveness into the battles is to prepare for triple types.

Fucking retards

It only counts if you use that effectively; it's not even really double moves more so than it is one move after another in succession.
Technically tri-types already can exist under certain conditions--use Forest's curse on a Scizor, for example, and it'll become a Bug/Steel/Grass and be 8x weak to fire. Use a Flare blitz on that nigga and you can get off >1000 damage.
