I never liked Venusaur, but I personally think he's the only one who actually looks better with his 3D model and color palette than both Charizard and Blastoise. The light blue just looks better on him than the sea foam green the sprites did. But that's just my opinion.

Count each Oricorio form and each member of the Trumbeak line and you got 7 different bird models. We only got about 80 new Pokemon. I guarantee 1-721 has a much greater percentage of perpetually airborne birds in comparison.

Lost it's vivid colors. Doesn't look "squat" enough. Eyes are slightly too big and close together. Mouth isn't long enough. They made the leaves too wide and didn't make the flower droop. The spots on the petals are white and not light pink.
