I always found this certain aesthetic Disney/Manga-mixes have to be both interesting and appealing yet in a way confusing.

Either way, it's fine. Haven't played it in a looooong time though.

Does anyone know of any modern Pokeclones for PC? Would love to play something new.

Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters: Champions are great.

Fossil Fighters: Frontier is pretty garbage, though.

This was my gateway into SMT. As a kid, I was totally blown away by the plot, the time travel, the mature themes, the lore, the demon world, and the cool designs.

I prefer regular SMT demon designs, but I would throw all my money at them for a remake of this game.

I don't remember a lot about pic related, but weren't the upgrades for the main character basically worthless, and you were better off relying on your mons?

I've never played Demikids specifically, but generally in Megaten games, Pyro Jack is a demon. Basically the SMT equivalent of a Pokemon. Major difference being that SMT is built on fusing your demons together into stronger ones, rather than levelling and evolving a set team (though some demons do evolve) so you're probably going to fuse your Pyro Jack into something stronger and never look back. But if you're playing one of the modern games (PS2 era on) you can use the fusion system/stat boosters/other mechanics if you want to really make your favorite a force to be reckoned with.

In Demi Kids, Pyro Jack doesn't play any big role. Aside from maybe a small subsubsubsub-boss at some early point in one of the games, maybe?

All the important roles are given to humans, or demons with more mythological/religious clout, or are directly tied to the Elysium empire.
