Theres no use for him really, he was designed to be a jack-of-all-trades, so basically everything is better at something than him,
the really only use besides the support you mentioned is z-explosion for doubles,

And for signles ive tried to use some sets and as far as ive tried, all his special sets suck, and his physical need swords dance and even after setting up i feel like other mons would deal way more dmg, while being faster

On neutral targets, a +2 Z-Explosion gurentees two kills. Crunch lets you touch Ghosts, and gamble defense drops on Steel types but you'll be better off Parting Shoting them into Steel killer instead.

200 BP Breakneck Blitz. Normalium Z allows you to use Explosion without killing yourself. Make sure it's used if all the Normal resits are gone.

If you want to use it for doubles, use it as a utility mon:
-Snarl fucks over both opponents
-Scary Face is good too if your ally runs Protect or has Defiant
-Imprison+Protect is good too. Unsure if it effects your ally though
-T-wave and Metal Sound is neat
-Parting Shot/U-Turn creates momentum for your team after its job was done

Stop using it offensively outside of Explosion, it lacks the firepower to pull it off. Evolite Type:Null probably does it better though but has worser speed and no access to Parting Shot and Snarl.
