I used these leads but with both of them having Baton Pass. The back row was Mega Metagross (MM, Zen Headbutt, EQ, and Hammer Arm) and Tapu Lele Specs (Psychic, Psyshock, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam). I never needed Shadow Ball or Focus Blast on Lele since locking into those would've gotten me killed a few times, and Metagross's EQ ended up being necessary a few times. He usually ended up paired with Oricorio anyway, so it never mattered to use it. I made it to battle 62.

What's a good partner for Z-Splash Luvdisc? I was thinking Clefable:

How do you guys do Super Singles?

I've tried everything.

Celesteela+Garchomp+Koko core
Lele+Phero+whatever core
Bulky Fire+Water+Grass core

Nothing works. I get screwed by shit like Focus Sash, Crits and just extremely weird behavior is general, everytime.

My Scarf Phero was outspeed and killed by a Sceptile, no Quick Claw.
Crobat got a critical+poison on my Silvally, ORKO.
Like I just don't get how it's not just the AI screwing with me at this point.
I even injected mons with illegal movesets just a few minutes ago, just to see if I could just breeze through this thing. Lost to an extremely bulky Salazzle.

I considered to switch Oranguru for something else. Any suggestions ?

Already fellas I just beat Plumeria for #40 in Super Singles, this is my longest streak. Some questions:

So the legendary pokemon start coming in the 40s? I was running into a few Megas in the 30s but no legendaries.

I believe you fight either Red or Blue depending on version. I have Sun, who do I fight? If it matters, I picked Blue to battle when you first get to the Battle Tree and see Red and Blue.

The 50th battle must be the easiest battle legends because you basically know exactly what to bring to beat either Red or Blue. Any one mon that's good against their team? Maybe a team of 3 that really fucks over all of Red or Blue's potential teams.

Any tips? I have a feeling I'll never get this high again and need to get my stamp immediately.

Their teams are always random from their batch of pokemon. They can be a breeze or they can easily fuck you over.
Only advice I can offer is watchout for scientists in the 40. Fuckers use trick room teams and will fuck you over if you're not prepared

You can use Z-Splash for Mimikyu in place of Life Orb, but that's more for HP+Atk sets which rely on being bulky and spamming Shadow Sneak.

Once you start noticing these recurring patterns of the worst hax on the most crucial turn of the battle you'll know that it's fucking rigged against you. I mean you could try to switch teams but that doesn't make any sense to do when your team is doing great. Hax is hax and every team is vulnerable to it. The format is just ridiculous, good teambuilding is important but it basically boils down to "Win 50 battles straight without making a single mistake...oh you've done all that as of Battle 40? Time to hax you out of your streak." So fucking demoralizing starting from Battle 1 again.

Try to scout Cynthia with M-Lucario or Colress with M-Metagross. Those are pretty much the two best AI partner leads in Multis. I beat ORAS Maison Multis with Steven (who also leads with M-Metagross) and Tree Multis with Cynthia. Alternatively, try to scout someone who leads with Scarf Typhlosion and give it sun support with M-Charizard Y. This is how I beat Multis in XY (I actually got to 100+ with this strategy).

Why do people act like it's the end of the world if their lead gets countered? This is basic stuff. While the Tree doesn't necessarily cheat, it does counter pick against your lead quite hard, especially if it has a double weakness. However, you just have to build your team to deal with this, and sometimes you can actually use it against the enemy AI. For example, in the last team I used I had Dragonite as my lead. Since I expected a lot of Ice-types, I put Toxapex in the back. Whenever I battle against a mono Ice team (which happens surprisingly often) I just swap my Dragonite for Toxapex and get a free 3-0 sweep. You should ALWAYS have something in your team that hard counters the counters of your lead. If you lead with M-Salamence or Dragonite, make sure you have a bulky Water-type like Suicune (when bank is out), Tapu Fini or Toxapex in the back. If you lead with M-Kangaskhan, pair it with something that deals with Fighting-types and status-spamming Ghosts. If there is one hard counter for your entire team then obviously your team has a glaring flaw that can be easily abused. I feel like many inexperienced players underestimate the importance of team synergy. You can't just make a team of three random sweepers and expect to do well with it.

If I want to demonize the tree that much It's easier for me to say it used z-moves or mega-evolve twice. I'm not making up everything here.
My lele is modest nature without scarf, so I thought that's probably why, but there's no reason for it to keep doing the same shit after I sent out Jolly Garchomp with max EV in speed.
Opponents attacked my pokemon twice is actually more common on my experience with the tree rather than Walrein OHKO and 100% hydro pump and crits. So I might face similar bullshit again so I can upload it here

I got up to 70 something with a Timid Z-Conversion (Thunderbolt) Porygon-Z, Adamant Life Orb Mimikyu, and Adamant M-Gyarados. EV trained with thoughtless 252/252/etc sets. Most of the time Porygon-Z took out all of the opponents on its own. If you lead with Z-Conversion, it seems like they expect an offensive Z move. I can't count how many battles started with the opponent Protecting/Detecting nothing.

You should never EVER under any circumstances take unnecessary risks in battle facilities, even if the risk is just 5%.
