I like the physically defensive buff + immunity to not only the most common special Fighting move, probably the most common coverage move for special attackers besides maybe HP Ice.

Also keep in mind Dark types picked up Prankster status immunity so Thundurus-I is fucked even harder. Plus Defiant pre Mega is a great Ability. 165 base Attack allows it to crush or put a huge dent in a lot of former switchins. 90 Speed means it's outpacing Mamoswine without relying on priority as well as Excadrill, M-Heracross, Hoopa-U, and offensive Adamant Lando (assuming Jolly Bisharp). All the fast bulkmons like Zapdos and Mew now either get outsped or forced to run so much Speed investment that their viability in general plummets.

Bordering on broken I would say. It's just the combination of stats typing and Ability that push it over the edge. Not even so much that it doesn't have counters, it's the free turn from typing + Multiscale, and its counters can get rekt by coverage (Ice Beam for Tapu Bulu, Thunder for Azumarill). I'd use it.
