Slubble is great. Love the concept. Dendromoss looks like it's wearing a low-cut v-neck leotard; I would change its patterning to avoid this. It's cute, but I feel like it needs something besides "squirrel, but a plant."
Coaltie is the weakest design of the three. There's not a lot going on there, and I would assume it was normal type if I didn't know it was supposed to be a starter. It needs to say fire in its design more.

The knight motif first came from turning a stalactite into a spear/lance/sword based weapon. The 'cavernous' design was inspired by feudalism, where the monsters living inside of the cave are equivalent to vassals living on manor grounds.

These are pretty solid, I feel bad no one ever said anything. That crab would never leave my team. The worst I can say about them is >Digimon. I want it to remain cyclopean, and I feel like separating it out into two different grave plots isn't working for it. I'm also not sold on the fences. Thanks for the input. I'll try to remove some details to make them less digimon-y, and try to exaggerate the grass one's nonhuman qualities more. Not sure what crab digimon you meant. Closest I could find was Crabmon.

The fire one was the one I felt least inspired on, which may have been why I overcompensated by giving it too much detail. I had pictures of the first two in my head, but all I really had in mind for the fire one was "It needs to wind up being fire/flying and not be Charizard." Maybe I just go back to the drawing board entirely for that one.

Part of the reason this doesn't sit well with me is that it essentially takes the Squirtle line and simply replaces the water aspect with fire. Turtles already have a strong connection with water so you need to fight harder to make the connection with fire, although some of the devil traits has helped alleviate that somewhat.

Perhaps you could add engine/fireplace features to the Fire/Steel Blastoise so that it has more to show for that typing rather than being a recolored Blastoise, which also doubles as setting it apart further from its common variant. Not really a big fan of the other two since you have removed the cannons on its back, and thus arguable half the reason it could be considered a Blastoise. Just use those designs as stand alone species, no need to drag Blastoise into it.

As a swede, I welcome any attempt to Pokemonify some Scandinavian lore, although I'd suggest adding a beard along with some other features on its main body and legs to make it less barren. The design works as it is, but at the same time it's also pretty forgettable and could use some extra touch to make the troll/giant/viking connection stronger.

Also, those min-maxed stats could use a slight nerf. It can easily survive two Tough Claws Meteor Mash from Mega Metagross, and a choice banded Close Combat from Terrakion. Really now.

I think Grape1 was okay-looking. I took away grape2's belt and gave it grape3's grape necklace thing. It also got smaller and pudgier with a grape nose. Grape3 got vinier limbs and less humanlike proportions, plus a grape mane since he wasn't grapey enough, and less detailing on the woody bits..

I totally redid the fire one. Now featuring rocket booster hooves and vague demonology references.

Not really sure what to do about crabbycrab. Not overly concerned about the fact that crabbycrab3's face looks vaguely like a digimon's face. Still working on it, but more specific crits there might be good.

Decidueye is ghost type because snipers are supposed to be silent (ghost ops) also it has ties to an extinct species of owl from hawaii

Tyranitar is dark because it's based off kaiju, and since they wanted to keep dragon type exclusive to the dragonite line what better type to give it than dark/evil as kaijus usually destroy vitis without reason. Also makes sense as it is based of godzilla who in the original film was meant to convey the terrors of the atomic bomb
