The reason why shit like this goes untouched on the Mobile App Store is because there are loads of them that Nintendo, Pokémon Company, and Game Freak doesn't want to deal with. Plus I heard that China has some weird copyright system.
This or the fact that the Pokémon fan games that has been worked on for ages has gotten loads of attention when they were released, taking away attention from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
Most likely the latter.

Not him but I have 4chan, certain Youtube channels. and other small sites whitelisted. There's enough normies to compensate, but now a lot of ads are actually part of the content, like Blue Apron ads in the Drunken Peasants Podcast. They just start shilling in the middle of the video. It's probably more effective at interesting people, and you can't really block it.
