I wouldn't be surprised if gen VIII lets you pass down balls for the whole egg group but for now you can only get a special ball fossil if you received a fossil via Dream World. ~~Or hacked it in.~~

Gen 8's gimmick: Ball Control
You can pick and choose which ball your Pokemon go in.
But there's one, non-tradeable, one-off ball that boosts STAB to double damage!
So you'll have one Mega, one Z-Move and one Special Ball Pokemon per team!
Roll on with the gimmicks!
