Comfy region. I've done only one full play through and I can remember everything.

It wasn't very good. Some of the route and town themes were decent but most of the routes were forgettable and only like 3 cities were of any interest. Didn't help that the pacing in most of the game was so bad you essentially B-lined it from gym 2 to Lysandre.

The biggest problem for Kalos based games was that they came after Gen 5. The story, the characters, everything was Gen 4 tier, so it was an obvious step back. What sealed the deal was that unlike Gen 4, which was saved by a third version, it got no third version to give it extra content like Battle Frontier and a bit more difficulty.
