GF doesn't care about gen 2.

I have a hard time keeping track of all the newer gens. I didn't play 4 as much as 3 so Gen4 still feels new to me and therefore un-remake-able.

I wouldn't mind returning to Kanto, but it would need to be different enough to make it interesting instead of just a simple remake. A lot changed in the years between BW1 and 2. Imagine them updating Kanto with 20 years of change thrown in (new cities, new gym leaders replacing older retired ones, new team and story, fleshed out Sevii Islands, etc.)

this was always my thoughts when people screamed about gen 4 remakes. why not just play them on the 3ds?

but I'm just now realizing the switch could have no way of playing DS games...
