1
is the power of other primes. 1=2^0=3^0=5^0
no prime is the power of another prime.
>>31451623
No, but 2 is
>>31451623
1 not being considered a prime number is fucking bullshit. prime numbers are numbers that can only be divided by itself and 1, so if 1 can be divided by 1, which is itself, then why isn't it a prime number? it's going against the logic behind it.
i google the answer and this is what i get
>The main point of talking about prime numbers is Euclid's theorem that every positive integer can be written uniquely as a product of primes. As Justin remarks, this would break horribly if 1 were considered prime, for example we could factor 2 as 2×1×1×1×1×1.
>people are too stupid to get the point across without writing an infinite loop of x1
fuck math and fuck the people behind it.

1 is not a prime number intrinsecally. There are many properties shared by all prime numbers that 1 does not have. Unique factorization is just the tip of an enormous iceberg you can't see about 1 not being a prime number.
