HGSS, BW, and BW2 are the best Pokémon games imo. They all have the most effort put into them and the most content, imo.

I mean, there are plenty of good Gen I Pokemon, but the Kanto region is kind of bland.

I felt like the routes in Unova were all straight lines. The twisty-turny factor in Hoenn was one of my favorite things about the region, so it kind of turned me off of B&W, setting-wise. I think it may have gotten better in B&W2, though.

If you don't think Pinwheel Forest, Marine Tube, Village Bridge, Twist Mountain, Reversal Mountain and Chargestone Cave are fantastic locations then you can go fuck yourself. Even Desert Resort and the sewers were atmospheric as fuck. Celestial Tower could have been better though.
