Don't know about /vp/, but he and DuncanKneeDeep had a huge argument about free for alls years ago.

Duncan was the person who wrote down the rules for and established the Free For All format and wanted to be credited by Nappy when he claimed that it was all his idea.

Nothing big happened after that. They no longer work/appear together in videos, but they don't forbid their friends to be in them either (HoodlumScrafty invites Nappy to his FFA every full moon still and GameBoyLuke still plays with Duncan).

I like Nappy. I really like his and Shady's Soul Links. Typically I let them play out to the end before I start watching though. I don't like the wait periods between videos, so I like to marathon the whole thing at the end. Nappy's got the same three voices for each character though, and that gets a little unbearable. I find myself skipping through most of the dialogue in the videos.

For better or for worse. He's most responsible for getting me back into the series. I didn't much care for Gen 3 but he was a big part of that early Let's Play thing which coincided with the online community really getting creative and active. I think I would have gotten into the franchise with HGSS just because my Gold copy was dead by then but that diamond playthrough convinced me sooner.

I haven't watched him in a long time though.

I think the only person I consider a "bad" Poketuber (besides HeWhoShallNotBeNamed) is BrandonToThePast. I understand he means well, but his editing and voice drive me up a wall, and he never has an air of professionalism like others do.

I really can't stand Patterz either though desu.
