I feel ya. I was a big fan of Froakie when everyone was hopping on the Fennekin and Chespin bandwagon because I like tree frogs like Toxicroak. Then Greninja is unveiled and gets added to Smash, gets an exclusive form, got all the spotlight in the anime and gets pushed on to teams.

I never got a chance to use him despite liking him since day 1 :(
