It's hilarious. The pokedex notes that Buzzwole is constantly flexing and showing off.

I liked salazzle a lot more once I realized he was just a monitor lizard. They do this thing called tripoding where they stand up on their hind legs (using their tails for balance) to look bigger/scarier and survey their surroundings, but walk on all fours. She's even got the splayed hips, and you can see her weight resting on her tail. It's a pretty cool design choice.

Honestly there are so many Pokemon that I ended up appreciating a lot more in the 3D games. The animations in combat and amie just make them feel so much more alive. It's the little things like watching zigzagoon run zig zags that add an extra level of personality to Pokemon that wasn't present in the 2d games.

I lliked buffsquitoe the moment I saw it. I though nihlego, just ub01 then, was strange but buzzwole showed how bizarre the ultra beasts were perfectly.

For me it was xurkitree. I didn't think much of it when I saw the leak but seeing be a wire monster made me love it. One of my favorite pokemon now.

Bewear covers its eyes when is hit.
That alone instantly elevated this mon for me from shit tier.

I wasn't huge on Porygon Z until I saw its refresh animations. It even eats beans spastically. I also started liking Hydreigon a lot more once I realized it was a sock puppet monster.

(I used Fur Coat because the damage calculator wasn't correctly accounting for Fluffy)
The calc that everyone uses also gives Mega Fug some boosts, it was either LO +1 to simulate Dragon Dance or Lum Berry +2 to simulate SD.
