Intuitively you would think physical attacks would be things where you get up close and attack with body parts like punches and such or maybe throwing physical objects like Razor Leaf, whereas Special moves are energy attacks or conjured up projectiles.

They're mostly consistent with that, but then sometimes you get shit like Solar Blade which really feels more like a special move, or Secret Sword which feels more like it'd be a physical move.
