I would play it safe and redeem these, nobody knows if this feature will be kept in Bank 2.0 and it's very unlikely the battle points will be transferred to Sun/Moon. Especially for ORAS it would be nice to keep BP in reserve for move tutors.

It seems like Game Freak were shooting to release Bank before now, but missed the target, especially with the 1.1 manual change. Just because the new season allows bank pokemon doesn't mean we'll get bank - they were just hoping to get it done by now.

This. I grind the doubles tree witj a Tapu Koko/Lantrun combo. Works wonders. Discharge/thunderbolt spam. If they come with ground mons i have HP(ice) on koko and STAB Scald on Lanturn.
