Iunno. It's annoying that it got removed because of censorship. But it felt like a lackluster minigame that didn't add much. I always ended up buying coins to get whatever I needed.

Yeah I do, but I want the games to be like Pokéathlon in the sense that it isn't up to luck but you receive the reward currency in correspondence to how high your score is.

So I guess it'd be more like an arcade than a casino, but it can still keep the same aesthetic mostly.

An ingame arcade would be tits actually.

Just put in some basic minigames, like some puzzle kind of game (Tetris or something), a basic sidescrolling beatemup (you pick from a couple of available fighting pokémon, and it's basically a mini-Final Fight), a racing game (fast pokémon compete on a track), and some kind of shooter (something a bit like Hogan's Alley or Wild Guns, with pokémon exchanging projectile attacks).

In one corner, there's one of those bullshit cranegames where you can grab some prizes if you're lucky, and next to it is two vending machines for drinks.

Depending on score you get in the arcade games, you can win points (maybe 1000pts in the games is 1pt you can use for exchange), these special points can be used to get prizes, the more points, the nicer the prizes.

Of course, there needs to be a couple of trainers which you can challenge once a day, like punks and whatever.

DQVII 3DS is rated 12, which aligns with PEGI's 12+ requirement for games with ingame gambling. USK apparently classifies it as 6+(correct me if I'm wrong) so that would mean Germany was never the reason the Game Corner dissapeared. The real reason is PEGI's requirement for any game with virtual gambling to be 12+, which they would NEVER let happen with Pokémon for any reason.

Back in DP the Game Corner was already censored in South Korea the same way it was censored in European Platinum. The neutered Game Corner probably got them a ton of flak so with HGSS they tried to reach a compromise with Voltorb Flip so European consumers wouldn't feel fucked over again.
