Honestly, no reason. Unlike Gen 1, where all starters are popular, only Greninja shines in Gen 6. This isn't a matter of discussion.

Greninja = Good taste

I'll have to disagree there. I like Chesnaught, but don't see myself as a contrarian. Greninja's design is superior, and it is stronger than Chesnaught, but I don't like Water-types in general. Even then, I voted for Greninja, but I love Chesnaught just as much.

Greninja got fucked up by the garbage anime series, everybody loves him now for losing.

Putting a vote for my Chesnaught brah here.

I agree that Greninja has superior design but I prefer Chesnaught, because he looks cute and fluffy.

I like the idea of Delphox but I don't like pokémon that have an implied gender so I think it has poor execution.
