I was thinking something similar, maybe call it "temple chop" as in the user hitting the opponents temple physically, but damages the brain. Gets 10% of confusion as well.

Pokemon with this ability are not one but several creatures working together as one. When this Pokemon's health reaches 0% it does not faint, instead it's health is lowered by 25%. On the fourth 'KO' the Pokemon faints for good. When the Pokemon's health lowers so does its attack, but it's speed raises.

+8 or something Priority, however Focus Punch works. The pokemon takes a stance. When hit by a damaging attack, the Pokemon launches Cross Counter at whoever hit it. In a Double Battle, it can use the attack twice if both opponents target it.
If the attack that triggers Cross Counter would make the Pokemon faint, the attack is launched before the pokemon faints, but the user of Cross Counter faints before an opponent damaged by Cross Counter does.
