Is this a typo or is he just high?
He sells herbs and?
If that's a typo, what is it supposed to say?
>>31409630
It's prounced "erb", so no, it's not a typo
>>31409630
fuck off newfag
in america the word herb is pronounced "erb" and treated as if it is spelled that way.
in other parts of the word it is pronounced "herb" and so the use of the word "an" would be incorrect but here it is the correct american usage.
>>31409674
>an herb
>an
>>31409630
He's slinging that mountain 'erb, anon. He's just distribution though.
>>31409676
>>31409630
Just checked further. Both are correct since it depends on your accent

You're playing this game in glorious America, where we say an herb.
>>31409630
An hero, OP.
>>31409630
How does he get away with selling drugs to minors right outside of a public space?
>>31409701

>Kanto = Japan
>Japan has wild dragons, electric yetis and hellhounds
>Unova = New York
>New York has wild sarcophagi, zebras and electric eels
>>31410688
English has lots of loanwords from French and lots of words with latin roots. Herb comes from French, and apparently they only pronounce half the letters that appear in written words
>>31410709
>Japan has wild dragons, electric yetis and hellhounds
It literally does though
>>31409700
Wrong. Words beginning with H should be preceeded by 'an' in written form.
>>31410989
Silent H yeah.
>>31410989
That's what he said, dingus, he just also mentioned that "a herb" would also be correct if it was the British pronunciation
Hell what you said was wrong because you didn't even specify words beginning with silent H's (and "hero")
>>31410709
>electric yetis
Pikachu is a ferret, you dingbat
>>31410745
>can't think of a good reply
>"I know I'll just act stupid so he can't argue back!"
>>31411921
>what is Jolteon
>>31411921

I'm gonna throw up you guys
>>31409727
I believe for the same reason sometimes people say "an historic" because of how you can drop the H sound while talking
>>31410668
>France has wild pandas
They don't ALL have to fit their region perfectly, stop triggering your autism
>>31411921
This is so hilariously wrong. I love it.he's talking about electabuzz or however you spell it
>>31412339
>explaining the joke
>>31410989
You don't say "an house", you dumb shit.
>>31412164
No. "an historic" is never right.
Neither is "an istoric"
>>31410668
So you've never actually been to Hawaii then
>>31410688
In America, erb = herbs, and herb = marijuana. Gotta make sure you don't get them confused.
>>31410989
it's an honour to be posting on the same platform as a fucking moron.
even in british english its the same crap
It's "an", you retards. "An" is reserved for vowels and in some cases words in which the beginning sound sounds like a vowel. (I.e an hour is "our") and "a" is reserved for consonants.
Stop playing video-games and read a damn book.
>>31410989
Wow, you're fucking retarded.
The only reason you say words like hour with an an at the start is because it is supposed to be pronounced like "our", having a vowel sound at the start.
>>31414100
which one should i read? they all look boring
>>31414177
