Dragon/Fighting would've been great if the Fairy nation didn't attack.
>>31405962
>Two shitty pseudos in row
How is this allowed?
>>31405968
three
>>31405971
Hey Hydreigon is still high rank UU, which is p good
>>31405971
Hydreigon was the beginning of the end, it was on the edge of being complete ass, then Goodra dove into shit, as did Kommo-O
Also where the hell where these fuckers in Kalos.
>>31405974
>UU
it's shit
>>31405968
>>31405971
>Last 3 pseudos have a fairy weakness, 2 of them being 4x
>All 3 are lackluster compared to previous pseudos
>Meanwhile new fairies introduced keep getting better and better
Based gf.
>>31405962
you mean it would be good if the x4 weakness multiplicator didn't existed (
I still want them to delete that unfair multiplicator...x2 is enoughand as a bonus we can finally definitely ban things like landorus
the dragon trial would have been already a lot more harder without that shit
>>31405979
Kommo-o is at least Unique but it be nice if gen 8 didnt have a reptile/dragon/mecha psuedo
>>31405962
Would have been great (broken) in Gen 1 or 2.
>>31405971
You mean two. Hydreigon is great in gen 5.
>>31406028
Can we get a fairy psuedo, it's the only "new" type not to get a psuedo, Dark has Tyranitar and Steel has Metagross.
Great Fairy mon or something else?
>>31406014
>All 3 are lackluster compared to previous pseudos
I feel they took it too far after introducing Garchomp(the most versatile and splashable pseudo), which is why pseudos are nowadays are more "balanced".
Gamefreak should quit with the dragons pseudos though. They can still introduce broken pseudos, but just stop making them fucking dragons.
>>31406092
More broken fairies would be nice. Hopefully it would be enough to prevent Garchomp from being on everyones fucking team.
>>31406146
Fairy, bug or electric should deserve a pseudo
>>31406079
Slaking would never have been created without its ability
>>31406161
Bug lines are normally reserved for early route pokes so I doubt it. They are making bugs nowadays worthwhile at least. I don't see any of the Alolan bugs touching PU.
>>31406161
Volcarona is basically a pseudo
>>31406223
i dont wanna imagine a volcarona with 50 more bst in the min max the generation
>>31406223
>tfw no caccon inbetween Larvesta and Volcarona that looks like a sunstone
Seriously if there was a midstage training Larvesta wouldn't be a bitch.
>>31405962
Isn't the main reason why Kommo-o is so shit because too much of its BST went into its special attack?
Zoroark. It could get some use if it wasn't introduced in the same gen as team preview.
>>31406321
swap its speed and special attack
>>31406321
Illusion really needs to be altered so that Zoroark can mesh with Team Preview. Have it appear as a different Pokemon not in either party in online battles while the ability is active?
Heliolisk.
Born too late to enjoy Weather Wars.
>>31406320
Kommo-o's flaws are it's shit offensive movepool. Calm Mind, Aura Sphere, Close Combat, Vacuum Wave, and Drain Punch would help it significantly.
>>31406381
Man, Game Freak sure loves cucking quadrupeds out of good moves.
>>31406014
>All 3 are lackluster
>Hydreigon
>very popular in VGC11, 12, 13 and 14
>lackluster
Let me guess, are you smogonfag?
>>31406406
>Kommo-o
>Quadruped
What
>>31406320
It's bad because it got a mediocre movepool (can't even learn Fire Blast) and no niche of it's own, save for rock polish sweeping/cleaning. It's typing, even with that 4x weakness, gives it a lot of chances to set up.
If it got more moves like >>31406381 said, it would be pretty good.
>>31406406
That makes no sense. It learns Sky Upper.
>>31406320
No, it's because he's too slow and his best fighting stab is fucking Sky Uppercut, it needs more usable moves like Close Combat, Aura Sphere and Drain Punch, or No Guard to use Focus Blast properly.
But if you really wanted to make Kommo-o a threat, Clanging Scales should function like Weak Armor, it would drop Defense but it should also raise his speed after using it, mixed sets with Work Up/Swords Dance would be great.
>>31406406
Kommo-o is a actually biped. Just gorilla-ish anatomy.
>>31406419
>>31406447
That makes sense.
>>31406436
>yet another potential-filled alolamon ruined by shit speed
Thanks for the balance, Game Freak. I can't wait to see how next gen's stat retcons will ruin Alola even more instead of going in the direction of >>31406342.
>>31406146
>dragon is still a type
>pseudo-legendary becomes its own type
>it resists fairy
How does the meta change?
>>31406447
i like pokemon with that body type shame not much of them
FUCKING
GF
>>31406478
Garchomp overtakes lando as #1 OU usage, Tyranitar is probably up there too
It would be a hell of a lot better in gen 5.
>>31406489
Same. I feel its the most flexible structure as you can still move like an animal while having the compatibility to do human things. Instead of that, we get animated fursuits.
>>31405971
Hydreigon was doing pretty well in Gen 5. I sure as hell don't remember it getting shit about its competitive weaknesses, compared to Goodra and Kommo-o who are being faulted right off the bat.
>>31406415
>Conveniently leaves out where I said "compared to past pseudos"
Nice reading comprehension kek. I didn't say they were bad.
>>31405962
Just IFL
>>31406022
>you mean it would be good if the x4 weakness multiplicator didn't existed
Agree. This shit ruined many Pokémon. If that didn't exist many Pokémon like Kommo-o and Probopass would be good, or at least viables.
>>31405962
The mistake was not making it a Dragon/Steel type.
>>31405994
OU is ubers-lite now, UU is preemo shit
>>31406632
Should have been poison/dragon but that would have left dragalge in the shitter.
>>31406899
Compared to other pseudos the only exceptional one would be Garchomp. Better luck next time retard.
>>31405962
so thats why I kill him with a vileplume moonblast, didnt know it was fighting type, never caught it
>>31408117
>didn't catch em all
MODS
>>31408117
>never caught it
RIP
>>31406213
Obligatory reminder.
>>31406238
Why not?Pebbles would balance it.
>>31406092
This is something only a stupid and incompetent developer full of lazy retards would do.i.e.It will probably in gen 8.
>>31405962
>This thing in gen 4
Mother of god
I mean it's broken even now but imagine if it had been introduced before the Steel nerf
>>31408376
I think they nerfed Steel partially because of this guy
>>31407916
Tyranitar
>>31408397
And makes other Steels shit as a result, even when they don't actually have the Ghost and Dark weakness
Mega Swampert would be OP in gen 5
>>31408531
Was shit.
>>31406079
Why isn't this shit considered pseudo or something more important? 670 BST is no joke even with that ability
>>31406079
It could use a mega that doesn't do anything but change its ability, no boost.
>>31406079
Especially because Normal is one of the most broken types in Gen 1
>>31408711
T-tar is not, and has never been, bad. Ever.
>>31408739
Because a pseudo is specifically
>A pokemon with 600 BST exactly
>A three stager
>requires 1250000 exp to reach level 100
>>31407806
Dragalge deserves better. It could've been dragon/water. Even then worst design of a pseudo by far, such a disappointment after goomyband sliggoo.
>>31406079
>klutz slaking
makes flavor sense, still kinda cripples it so it's not op...one can only hope
i do like how it has all of work up, bulk up, and hone claws...it's 2017, who's still raising stats by a single level...
>>31408841
Dragalge's typing is fine. With Adaptability you only have Steel types to worry about. Its only issue is that it's painfully slow for an attacker and lacks recovery to wall reliably.
>>31408739
>670 BST is no joke even with that ability
Except it really is. Truant is easily the worst ability in the game, even Slow Start could be enough to pump Slaking up as high as UU since it has fantastic bulk and reliable recovery to fall back on.
Speaking of Slow Start, there's no reason for it to be as crippling as it is. The countdown should start at the beginning of the battle, regardless of whether the user is active or not, and automatically wear off on the 5th turn of any battle even if the user hasn't been sent out up to that point. Boom, Regigigas goes OU minimum.
>>31409602
>Gigas gets slow start
>but it's okay for M-Rayquaza to exist with 100BST more with a very helpful ability
>>31408376
They nerfed steel just for him.
>>31409602
that's a liiittle too much imo. just make it not reset with switches and regigigas is fine.
normal types are already fighting an uphill battle to stay relevant, though, so it's hard to make them really op. two resistances, an immunity, no super effectiveness, and there aren't a whole lot of options for strong, drawback-free physical attacks. (facade, return, body slam i guess)
