No matter how much fan art people will throw at me, I don't think I will ever like his 3D model in-game, enough to even consider having one full time. Some (emphasis on some) of his animations are okay, but it barely makes me care about it.

Yeah, it's kind of sad when a Pokemon only looks good in fanart. It's a shame cause Incineroar's personality is fun and I like the idea of a heel wrestler Pokemon but its design is so unappealing.

That's really only because the shading (or lack of it) you substituted in in that comparison looks pretty shitty no matter what textures you stick on the model, take a look at GO's handling of it instead, they look fantastic.
