Irrelevant. If you haven't noticed, the main flack BW gets is older mons not being accessible. SM has a wide variety of mons and then some new ones, which is what people love.

Gens 1-4 barely had anything you could call a plot, and Gen 6 failed utterly at it. SM's story is fairly enjoyable and decently written, even if slightly predictable, which I agree it was.

This desu. The Pokemon selection is huge and the pacing is just right. Even the Pokeathlon feels fresh every time I play it.

HGSS also has a lot of 'freedom' that BW2 doesnt give you. You can explore a lot more optional areas and the game opens up a lot after getting Surf. BW2 railroads you far too often.
