Satoshi gets really interested and enters the Pancake Race together with Pikachu.

SM14 - The Fruit of Courage: Lilie and Rokon! (Feb 9th)
>The Pokémon egg Satoshi and his friends have all been taking care of together finally hatches, and they're all really excited about it. Lilie has been in charge of the egg, and her emotions towards it hatching are really strong. But she is still unable to touch Pokémon, so she ends up feeling down about the entire thing. And then, after school that day, an ominous shadow has its eyes set on Lilie while she's on her way home.

The infamous Brandon episode was made by some garbage consultant Hong Kong gang of animators (studio Kuma). Something must've gone wrong with the animation planning for this to happen, because it really is a unique event for them to outsource an episodes' animation like this.

Stop hating on SM's art style. The rounder character designs suit the tone of the series. It's not as detailed as XY's art style, but being simpler makes it easier to animate fluidly, which is probably the reason it was simplified in the first place.
